Modern Pin-Up with a Classic Style

Zoe Scarlett is a Swiss Pin-Up model who started in 2006 and has gained world wide notice in Cosplay groups and the model world that associates with pin-up styles.

A pin-up model is a model who wears fashions from the forties and fifties, there is a large fan base for this type of modeling. To a lot of people these eras are the best for clothing, it is comfortable and elegant as well as sexy. More and More people are getting involved with becoming a pin up model. Pin-up modeling does not mean nude model, yes some do nude modeling but quite a bit do modeling in lingerie and clothing.

Scarlett started modeling to surprise her boyfriend, who was away on a trip to Los Angeles, she set up a shoot and when he came home, she had posted the pin up pictures all over the garage.

The following week another photographer came by their place to take photos of some cars in the garage, and saw Scarletts photos and began taking photos of her. He then used those photos a month later in a magazine he worked for. She enjoyed all the attention that the photographers and magazine gave to her photos.

After her first photo shoot she began working out, and practiced how to move in front of the camera. Being a pin up model is not a regular modeling job, some times you have to do things that look kind of silly to the average person.

This has become her passion and her life now and her career, she has made her own little business. She has created a business with in a business with what she has coined “Pin-up hair Jewelry”, and she has new products coming out almost every month.

In 2008 she released a Pin-up DVD, which has become a series and she even created a pin-up fashion website, www.zoescarlett.com.

She  grew up in a family that was addicted to American made cars and to the 1950’s, her parents had giant pictures of Betty Grable in her living room, and Scarletts favorite bombshells are Marilyn Monroe and Jane Mansfield.

Scarletts favorite aspect of being a pin up model is that you get to travel a lot, meet new and exciting people, and spending time with her fans while she is on the road. She really likes her fans and answers any questions that they might ask her.

If any one is wondering where she gets all the vintage clothing then ask no farther. When someone books her as a model, they will take care of her outfit needs, make up and accessories. But if she doing a photo shoot with friends or at conventions she has a huge wardrobe at home. She gets a lot of her clothing from auctions and thrift shops.

She does specialize in pin up modeling but from time to time she does do regular or modern modeling as well. She is supported by her family, even her boyfriend and grandparents are proud of what she does. Her family collects everything they can that has something to do with Scarlett. She loves what she does and receives help and support from her family in the process.

Getting into the business is hard and make money doing it, as a professional model you usually work for an agency or a management company. They take care of you and the contracts are basically everything you need. Scarlett does not work for an agency, she does everything on her own and it takes a lot of time to do it this way. She learns new things on a daily business about the modeling industry.

What she wants people who are looking to get into this business is this, you really need to be at least eighteen, be careful about your choice of a photographer , check them out when all possible. Take some one you trust with you on your shoots, you do not have to pay to get into an agency and do not ever take your cloths off to become a professional model. Nude modeling is not bad, it is a good thing but its your body and your right to do it, if you don’t feel comfortable about nudity don’t do it.

She attends a lot of “Hot Rod” shows and concerts besides the for mentions conventions, you can find all her dates and info on her website. She has added a burlesque show to her list of activities. Burlesque is another up rising classic era routine for people to enjoy.

She works with a few good photographers that are her friends, one really good one is Pablo Wunsch Blanco and another is Dirk Behlau from Germany.
